Program Description

The World Languages and Linguistics major is unique in the Massachusetts State University system. Students in this major engage in the comparative study of languages and in the science of linguistics. This major offers students a foundation in language and linguistic skills, as well as knowledge of diverse cultures. The program prepares students to meaningfully interact in a global and multilingual environment.
